Youth Achievement Awards

The Youth Achievement Awards (YAA) are accredited, meaning goals and targets are set and you work towards them to gain your award. Like the MV Awards, you and your placement organisation must be registered to take part.

If you have a younger brother or sister or know someone who's aged 10-14, get them involved in the Dynamic Youth Awards . There are three levels of Challenges and each level takes 30 hours to complete, and is broken down into six five-hour activities.

Or check out the Youth Achievement Awards -- aimed at people aged 14 years and over (er, that's me -- Ed.) They too have a number of different levels -- Bronze, Silver and Gold.

The Bronze award takes 60 hours to complete with four challenges, the Silver award takes 90 hours with six challenges, and the Gold award takes 120 hours with eight challenges. Finally, the Platinum Award is the top award that takes 120 hours to complete and requires more work than any of the others.

Are you up for it?
